Swinger and V4 Sidewinders manufactured before Feb 2017 may need this longer thumb screw.

The Old screw had  ~3/16 (~5mm) thread length.  This new screw has 1/4” (~6mm) thread length.

Each of Dans machines is engraved with the month and year.

Any machine manufactured after February 2017 should not need the replacement sleeve or thumbscrew unless it has been damaged.  Sidewinder V4 and Swinger machines manufactured from October 2016 – April 2017 have a shorter thumbscrew along with an O ring which made for a less secure tube vice.
